From the Economist in regards to Hurricane Katrina:
Race is inevitably a factor. Most of the New Orleanians seeking public shelter are poor and black. Barbara Bush, the president’s mother, earned no thanks from him for her remark that because many survivors “were underprivileged anyway”, their Astrodome quarters are “working very well for them”.
Barbara, go bake an apple pie or somethin' and while you're at it
SHUT THE HELL UP.
